Update: 35 Weeks

Just a quick update. I had a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I am currently 2 1/2 cm dilated, high blood pressure today, still on bed-rest.  He said it will be no longer than a week before this baby arrives.  I had contractions, along with vomiting last night, felt horrible.  So I knew that things were progressing and it will not be long at all.  Now we just wait.  My contractions will need to be 5 minutes apart before I head to the hospital.  We are getting really excited! Thanks again for all your prayers, we truly appreciate them.  Oh, I have gain 3lbs, which make a total of 14lbs so far.  I go back to the doctor on Monday at 1:45, if she doesn't come before then.  I told him MY prediction is April 4th and he said that is a pretty accurate guess, so we will see.

Also, I want to thank everyone again for all the sweet comments about her nursery and my maternity pictures. Totally made my week. :)

Maternity Photos

I have been on bedrest for the last 4 weeks and I had planned to have my maternity photos done, well and my baby shower.... neither happen.  So my sweet sister came up for a visit and took some of me.  I am very pleased with the way they turn out.

Channing Grace's Nursery

Well, finally I have it all together, of course with the help of my wonderful mom and sister...!! I gave them a list of things to make and they did a fabulous job.  I decided on a little deer theme...really I guess because its adorable, her daddy is a hunter and we didn't get a boy this time. But, it is done in a "girlie" way and it turned out perfect...well, at least I think it did.

P.S. - Photos are not edited, just download and put on here. :)

I will also be putting a few pics from Pinterest to show my inspiration for a few things, also a few more projects that are ALMOST complete and will be added shortly. :)

Channing Grace's Nursery

My mom made these little deer patches for the bins I already had, my idea....!! I just love how they look.
My mom made this adorable pillow.
I bought the little girl & deer photo from etsy, and my mom made the "I am a Child of God" one.
My mom made this. :)
My mom made this, the idea was from Pinterest. :)

Quilt and Sham from Pottery Barn, Sheet set handmade from Etsy, and Crib skirt from Babies R us.  So it all was purchased separate, but looks wonderful together. I am good...lol!!
Sheets are handmade from Etsy. I just adore them. :)
My mom made this adorable fabric bambi bunting.  I bought a vintage bambi book and had her make it.  It is probably my favorite thing in the nursery.  :)  The nursery is NOT actually a Bambi theme, just deer...but I incorporated bambi stuff in it due to the deer.

Due to not  having a lot of space, I saw the idea on Pinterest to hang a rod under the shelf..so my sweet hubby did it for me.  The dresser was from Rylee's room, and I bought for $10 and repainted and added pretty green knobs. :)
The cowhide rug was in my living room and I thought it would be perfect for her space.
I bought these adorabe mommy and baby deer from Etsy. :)
My mom made this ADORABLE doll for her. :)
I LOVE windmills and this little deer rock is so cute.
I bought this off of Etsy, its a vintage bambi pitcher from 1977. Another great find. :)
This is a vintage tool box that Keith's grandpa made him years ago, I got the idea from Pottery Barn and thought it was cute. :)
