Update: 31 weeks

Doctor's visit this morning, still on bed-rest for another week :( :( :(, (taking that a week at a time), still 1cm dilated, but she has dropped a little & felt more pressure. Said my cervix is hanging on. I will be induced ( due to family being so far away, & need to make plans), so looks like it will be April 26th, instead of May 3rd...and there is a possibility I will have her before then. I have a sonogram next Wed, I'll be 32 weeks & I'll get to see her again! :).

Rylee is coming home today, longest 2 days EVER, but I'm so sad ( actually crying now), that I can't play with her. My parents will be heading up next week to babysit me...lol! I really need prayers right now. Thank you! XO♥

Bed rest @ 29 & 30 weeks

Update from my previous post! I am trying to keep up with this blog, so my sweet little one can read all about herself when she's older...lol!!

So after being on meds & bed rest for 24 hours, I was still hurting. I called the doctor Wed morning & they said to go to L&D, so to the hospital we went. My mother-in-law drove 2 hours to watch Rylee for a bit. We waiting about 45 minutes for a room, & then finally they started hooking me up to the monitor. Baby looked & sound great, & I was still having contractions. So after a while they gave me a shot of the same medicine I had been on, checked to see if I was dilated & a test to determine if I was in pre-term labor. I am dilated 1cm & tested negative for pre-term labor. My contractions slowed down, & after 5 hours..I was sent home with orders of a week of strict bed rest & meds every 4 hours . My mom & sister drove 4 hours to take care of me, they stayed through today, my daddy was missing my mom like crazy & my sis was also ready to see her beautiful family! I am beyond grateful to them, the occupied Rylee (not an easy job), cooked, clean my house, and were constantly making sure I was comfortable. I am truly blessed. :) :)

So here I am, my 6th day of bed rest my 10th day of contractions & trying to keep my mind from wondering to the "what if's". I know that God is in control & she will arrive in God's perfect timing & not a moment to soon..,but she sure is making a little statement with all of this excitement, keeping me on my toes, ( well in the bed..lol), & I can only imagine her little personality!

Rylee is good, she was a bit emotional this morning when my mom & sister left...very clingy to me. It's a lot to process for her, & crying is her way to express that. I just love her to pieces & wish I could play with her..I miss it!!

My hubs- I know it's hard for him..I have been sick almost this entire pregnancy & it has to be wearing on him too, so please keep him in your prayers. He's my caretaker for the next few days. His mom will take Rylee Mon & Tues, ( she's only ever stayed 1 night away from us, & we were 30 minutes away, but now we will be 2 hours, so pray for us, please). Keith will be back at work & I'll be in the part of my house where I have easy access to everything!

I just want to thank everyone that is praying for me & keeping up with how I'm feeling! I completely appreciate it & feel very loved!

I have an appointment on Wed to see how I am doing & we will go from there.

And to my sweet baby girl, hang on just a little longer....we just have 68 more days to go...& we are all so very excited to welcome you into our family!! Love, Mommy

Oh, & if you notice in the second photo, I have "no" pillow..they couldn't find one until the last 30 minutes until I checked out??!!!

A little unwanted excitement...@ almost 30 weeks

Well, I started feeling bad Thursday night, horrible cramps/pressure. I called the on call doctor over the weekend & she put me on bed rest & said to call my doctor on Monday morning.

So I called this morning, they had me come in, hooked me up to a monitor & I am having contractions 3-4 minutes apart. So he called in some medicine to stop my uterus from contracting, he told me it would make me feel extremely shaky, racy heartbeat, just feel really bad. ( And its true...I am feeling all those things at this very moment). So I'm on bed rest for 24 hours, meds every 4 hours. The baby is great though, and movement hasn't slowed down, which is a good sign. So my wonderful hubby ( on his birthday) stayed home from work today & will tomorrow to help with Rylee.

Oh, & my doctor was very mad at the on call doctor, that she didn't have me go to the hospital. I remembered her from 3 years ago, & said I didn't like her then...he said "she is my least favorite doctor, & I'm sorry,"

Please continue to pray that all is well, & this baby will wait at least 10 weeks for me. :) She is due on May 3rd.

Oh, & BIG Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby, I love you very much! And appreciate all you do for us! :)

28th week appointment

Just a quick update on my appointment this morning.

Today, I had the glucose test, what fun! The lovely liquid stuff I had to drink tasted so good....NOT! And I was already nauseous & that didn't help, then getting my blood drawn..& I hadn't eaten since 8pm last night. I'm feeling a little better, laying down in the bed though!

The doctor decided to run more test than just the glucose, because I have had morning sickness & not feeling great for the last 2 weeks. I should get the results back on Monday! Oh, & I have "lost" two pounds, so that makes on eight pounds gained in 28 weeks! No bad at all! :) Also, the baby's heart beat sounded great!

Letter to Baby..

Dear Sweet Baby Girl, 

I have to tell you that I am getting more excited everyday to meet you. With every little kick and punch I feel, I keep thinking how strong you are going to be...lol!  And you have taken me through a few rough patches with the pregnancy, BUT I wouldn't change one thing about it.  We have already named you and I am TRYING to keep it at secret and so far it is working..!! I am completely in LOVE with your name and know that it will fit you perfectly.  

And I have been hard at work on your little nursery.  I am driving your maw-maw crazy, calling her about 10 times a day to ask her opinion on something OR to ask her to make what I find..to save money.  She is the most crafty, talented person I know and she is so in love with you and excited to help plan everything.  She ordered your nursery bedding,etc and I can't wait to see it all together.  The theme of your space is "little deer/fawn's and it's so cute..just like you will be. I just keep looking at your baby bed, thinking...I can't believe in 3 months I will have a precious little one sleeping in there....I am beyond blessed. 

We just decided to have a baby shower for you.  I have debated on this for many reasons, but in the end I believe that every baby needs to be celebrated and it will be a lot of fun.  We just started planning it, so next month..you will have your first little party..! :)

Your little sister, Rylee is SO SO very excited to meet you.  I can't wait to see her expression when she meets your for the lst time. I am sure you already recognize her voice and she can't keep her hands of my tummy..trying to feel you move.  And your daddy..you kick for him almost every time he puts his hand on my stomach to feel you. 

I just love you and I am counting down the days...!!
